Play is important for children – it is also important for adults. We need it. Let me say it again, adults need to play.

I’m a play practitioner and advocate. Professionally, play is just as important to my work as are the topics of leadership, story, communication, change and transformation. Play is nutrition for the spirit.

I just happened to find out about a new, on-line course in play given by Future Learn. The course is free. I’ve decided to sign up. Take a look, if this interests you maybe we will meet virtually for seven weeks and learn a little more about play.

Future Learn is offering, Exploring Play: The Importance of Play in Everyday Life. The course is about Understanding the nature and value of play through the course of our lives, across cultures and communities.

I hope you will consider joining me!

– Mary

Disclaimer Not Needed: To my knowledge I do not know anyone involved in Future Learn, nor am I being paid anything to share the information. I am just very much looking forward to taking it and wanted to share what looks like a great offering with you!

Edited to add the image and to alert you that this course may still be available. I did find it a very worthwhile course to take – 12/25/2016.
